There are over 1.3 billion people living in China – most have never even heard the name of Jesus. Sixty years of Communist rule has left its mark.  The American Church is remiss if it simply longs for the second coming of Jesus when so many have never heard of His first coming.

OTAN China exists to mobilize the Church in China to share the Gospel through national believers.  OTAN is assisting national believers and churches to train their people for ministry and to send out church planters. Training centers are operating in various parts of the country; plus Bible and literature distribution is taking place. Laborers are being sent out into outlying areas.

Discipleship Training is the most important aspect for the Chinese to be able to reach their own people with the Gospel. Right now there is approximately one pastor for every 5 - 7,000 believers, and that pastor often has no in depth Bible training. According to the Asia Harvest Newsletter ( #106) there are an estimated  34 million Chinese  Christians without a Bible.

Bibles and Christian Literature  --  $5 buys a Study Bible or Bible dictionary/ commentary
